Support
Help from a real person with the app, purchases, your data and corrections to our research.

Write to support@theshortlistatlas.com. A person reads every message, and we aim to reply within two business days.
Report a Correction
Facts change: programs open and close, museums shut for renovation and links move. If you spot something wrong or out of date in a town profile, dossier or place listing, email us the details below. Confirmed corrections reach the app in the next content update.
- The town or place
- What you saw
- The official source, if you have one
Purchases and Subscriptions
- Restore a purchase: in the app, open You → Membership & Billing → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.
- Cancel or change a subscription: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Manage subscription inside the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
- App refunds: app purchases are processed by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- PDF Atlases: bought through our Fourthwall shop and emailed right after checkout. If yours hasn’t arrived or won’t open, write to support@theshortlistatlas.com with your order number and we’ll sort it out.
- Trip Pass lasts 30 days from purchase and does not renew.
Your Data
No Atlas account needed: your trips and saved towns live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. To move to a new phone, enable iCloud backup on the original phone, then choose Restore from iCloud on the new one. You can also use Export everything and Restore from an export. Devices do not sync live. See the Privacy Policy.
Getting Started
- Take the walkthrough: Menu → Take the App Walkthrough.
- Personalize Home: choose travel, Atlas research or both in You.
- Resume a trip: Trips → Continue Planning. Traveler and Atlas Member keep several trips side by side; on Free and Trip Pass, New Trip replaces the open trip, so export it first to keep a copy.
- Get directions: open a place → Directions. Choose your starting point and Walk, Transit or Drive, then open Apple Maps or Google Maps.
